PCN catheter

We pride ourselves on our “research and development centered workplace” and forge ahead in the confidence of our high caliber, reliable R&D center.  The PCN catheter we manufacture is, therefore, no exception.
A catheter is a flexible tube made of Teflon, silicone, or latex that can be inserted into the body with ease. Today’s medical professionals have a range of catheter designs to choose from, for specialized applications. Catheters are designed specific to the process or procedure to be conducted, for example, pulmonary, cardiac, or neonatal all demand different procedures and therefore a design-specific catheter. The three main catheters in use today are coronary, renal and infusion.
The renal or PCN catheter, exceedingly the most widely used catheter is in use not just in hospitals and nursing homes but even in-home care.  Another catheter that is highly used and relatively easy to use is the Foley catheter. The Foley catheter is equipped with an inflatable balloon at the tip to occlude a passage.
The ingenious, design and creation of the PCN catheter enables “percutaneous nephrostomy” which, involves the insertion of a catheter (flexible rubber tube) through the skin into the kidney to drain the urine out. This is done when something is blocking the tubes called urethras. Interventional radiologists who insert the catheter use advanced Image guidance techniques to accomplish the best possible outcome. Under local anesthesia, and the aid of imaging techniques such as fluoroscopy, ultrasound or CT scan the tube is then inserted. It is a relatively simple procedure that takes less than an hour. The pre-procedural tests conducted are to assess your complete urinary system; tests will include blood and urine tests, x-ray of your kidney, uterus and bladder, and a CT scan to get a good view of your internal organs. What’s great is the whole procedure does not entail a lengthy hospitalization.
