A catheter is a flexible tube made of
Teflon, silicone, or latex that can be inserted into the body with ease. Today’s
medical professionals have a range of catheter designs to choose from, for
specialized applications. Catheters are designed specific to the process or
procedure to be conducted, for example, pulmonary, cardiac, or neonatal all
demand different procedures and therefore a design-specific catheter. The three
main catheters in use today are coronary, renal and infusion.
The renal or PCN catheter, exceedingly

your kidney, uterus and bladder, and a CT scan to get a good view of your
internal organs. What’s great is the whole procedure does not entail a lengthy
hospitalization.
